From manual labour to perfection
Over 20 years ago, founders Benno Cramer – technical product designer and craftsmen by passion – the cornerstone for the Fernweh-Mobil®. The first cabin was still 100% laminated by him by hand. On extensive trips, he tested his development under the harshest conditions to continuously optimise every detail.
What began as a vision is now a steadily growing The Fernweh-Mobil® family.
New energy for the future
From Cramer Technik was in 2026 Cramer und Huß Technik GbR. With the entry of Johannes Huß, a qualified mechanical engineer and passionate craftsman, we combine practical experience with fresh ideas.
Together with Stefanie Cramer, with a qualified balance sheet accountant handling administration, the trio forms a well-coordinated team.
This symbiosis of decades of off-road experience, thoughtful design, and sound engineering guarantees that your Fernweh-Mobil® will continue to meet every demand for genuine, independent travel well into the future.

Regional production
We have special parts manufactured by long-term partners and craft companies from the region.
Own final assembly
The final assembly and quality control are carried out completely in our own workshop.
